Kaikoura Hop is the premier car show for enthusiasts in the South Island of New Zealand. The event takes place in the scenic seaside town of Kaikoura, against the backdrop of breathtaking coastal vistas and the majestic Kaikoura Ranges. Visitors can indulge in a weekend of cars, cruising, car shows, entertainment, food, and fun. This annual event is the perfect opportunity for car enthusiasts to come together and enjoy a weekend of all things automotive.

The Bowden's Own Twilight Night 'Light Up' Cruise is an awesome way to get the weekend kicking with an amazing cruise through the streets of Kaikoura.
Have you got your lights ready to go?
The Bowden's Own Twilight Night Cruise on the Friday night of the hop is open to everyone. Don’t forget to light yourself up too.
If you're not in the cruise, pick your best road side vantage point and watch as many of the cars in Saturday's Show 'N' Shine cruise the streets.
Prizes for best Lit up car and person.

Come check out this awesome display of Cars, Trucks and Bikes with heaps of great trophies accompanied by prizes from Bowden's Own Car Care.
There'll be heaps of fun for the whole family including food and drink stalls.
There is a gold coin donation entry with all funds donated to the Takapau Community Health Centre.

What to expect:
The Caroline Bay Rock and Hop has become a signature event for South Canterbury, attracting thousands over four vibrant days. Enthusiasts showcase their vehicles, enjoy rock and roll music, and celebrate - all in support of Hospice South Canterbury.
Don't miss the Bowden's Own Main Street's Cruise on Friday Night, 20th March.
Saturday is the HUGE Gala Day Show & Shine at the Hop, attracting more than 1000 cars and around 10,000 people. Cars, caravans and motorbikes will all be on display on the grass and the park will be pumping!
There's also a Show & Shine Car Competition Winners Parade where you’ll see the best of the best in each category. Bowden's Own will be supporting each trophy with a great prize pack.

What to expect:
Bowden's Own is excited to present the Friday evening Bowden's Own Main Streets Cruise. This event takes your breath away, with hundreds and hundreds of amazing cars cruising in front of thousands of people who line the streets bringing out their deckchairs, nibbles and drinks to watch the cars cruise by.
The cruise leaves from Caroline Bay at exactly 5.30pm and takes in the main streets of Timaru, Pleasant Point and Temuka. This is an extremely popular cruise, being the highlight of the weekend for some.
The streets are lined with people all the way around the route so expect heaps of horn tooting and waving!
