Since the launch of The Big Green Sucker back in 2016, we’ve been on a mission to find a towel that could absorb more water and provide even better performance. We tested many options over the years, but we were always disappointed by the available twist pile loop microfibre technology. While these towels worked well initially, they quickly lost their absorbency after a few washes, and that just didn’t meet the high standards we set for our products.
However, things took a turn when a new type of twist pile loop microfibre became available. We immediately got to work testing this new material, and we were thrilled with the results. This new twist loop material outperformed its predecessors in every way: it’s more absorbent, lasts longer, holds more water, feels softer, and is of better quality.
As a result, we expanded our range of microfibre drying towels over the last 18 months, using this amazing new material to ensure a superior drying experience for you.

The Big Green Sucker – Ultra Soft, Plush Microfibre
Our original drying towel that started it all. The Big Green Sucker is designed for a safe, efficient drying experience. With a 1200 GSM split microfibre, it’s soft and absorbent, making it perfect for preventing swirl marks and scratches. Measuring 70cm x 40cm, this towel offers a huge surface area to absorb water quickly and effectively. For the best results, we recommend pairing it with Boss Gloss for a smoother drying experience.
Twisted Pro Sucker – Ultra Absorbent, Fast Drying
Twisted Mother Sucker – Large, Efficient Drying for Big Vehicles
The Twisted Mother Sucker is the perfect towel for those with larger vehicles like 4WDs, trucks, or boats. With its huge 90cm x 60cm size and convenient corner hand pockets, it makes light work of drying big vehicles. This towel uses 800 GSM twist pile microfibre for amazing absorbency and easy wringing out, ensuring a fast, spot-free finish. It’s ideal for a thorough dry with no hassle.
Twisted Little Suckers – The Ideal Tool for Intricate Areas
Perfect for drying tight spots, the Twisted Little Suckers are 30cm x 40cm mini towels designed for intricate areas that large towels can’t reach. These towels are made from 800 GSM twist pile loop microfibre, which makes them super absorbent. Available in dark grey for dirtier areas like wheels and engine bays and bright orange for delicate areas like door jambs, they’re a great modern replacement for the traditional chamois.
Big Bugger Chamois + Little Ripper Chamois – Traditional Chamois with a Modern Twist
If you prefer a more traditional drying option, our Big Bugger Chamois and Little Ripper Chamois are the perfect fit. These ultra-absorbent microfibre chamois provide a streak-free finish and are designed to be easy to use, without sticking to the paintwork. The Big Bugger Chamois is large (71cm x 50cm), while the Little Ripper is a more compact size (60cm x 35cm) for smaller jobs.
Caring for Your Microfibre Towels
To keep your towels performing at their best, proper care is essential:
- For Chamois: Give them a good rinse in fresh water after each use, and machine wash if necessary.
- For Big Green Sucker and Twist Pile Towels: Wash them after each use to maintain absorbency. Be sure to wash them while they’re still damp and avoid using fabric softeners or harsh chemicals. A good tumble dry will help keep them fluffy and effective.
- Important Tip: Wash twist pile loop towels separately to prevent lint transfer. If you notice a snag in the towel, simply snip the thread. The tight weave ensures it won’t unravel.
